A Tyndall alumnus, Paul Beecher is a technologist and innovation strategist with a PhD in nanotechnology and 15+ years of experience in R&D, emerging technologies and science policy. His work in recent years has heavily been focused on matters related to advanced manufacturing, taking in environmental, societal and economic resilience, the geopolitics of production and global supply chains, and preparing the digital workforce of the future. Aside from university research environments, his experience includes working for national innovation agencies and international NGOs, and he has previously collaborated with supranational agencies, various government ministries and multinational firms.
